地球の大気や重力に慣れ親しんだ私たちからすると、地球以外の惑星に移住した際にはどれほどの負荷がかかってくるか想像ができません。でもそれは宇宙人にとっても同じこと。宇宙人がいち早く自らのサイボーグ化を果たしているかも？という視点は面白いと思いました。
また、地球の問題はいまこの地球で解決されなければならない、という主張ももっともですよね。仮に地球を捨てて火星に移住したところで、火星への適応が不十分な人類がそこで末永く満足に暮らしていけるとは到底思えません。すぐに水や食料や資源の争奪戦が起き、『蝿の王』さながらの地獄絵図が展開されることは容易に想像できます。さらに、地球に残された人間たちはどうなっちゃうの？という大問題も残ってしまいます。やはり人は母なる大地を離れては生きてはいけない生き物なのでしょうね。
